Website Statistics for 2009-2010
Picture this...
Here is an overview of Web statistics for Duke University Libraries for the reporting period of July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010. It provides the following information:
- Visits by domain — counts the number of visitors to our Websites.
- Pageviews by domain — counts the number of Web pages our visitors viewed.
- Most viewed Library Resources — pageviews of 25 top resources on our Websites.
- Browsers — shows what Web browsers visitors used.
- Mobile platforms — shows what mobile platforms visitors used. Less than 1% of our vistors used a mobile platform to access our Website.
- Location — How many patrons accessed our library resources from on campus vs. from off campus.

- Four resources (Catalog, Digital Collections, Citing Sources, and Library Homepage) account for over 80% of our pageviews.
- Catalog represents nearly a third of all Website pageviews.
- Digital Collections represent over a quarter of all Website pageviews.
- Citing Sources section, a mere 37 pages, received over half as many pageviews as our entire catalog of 5 million+ items.
