Current Periodicals, Newspapers & Microforms

NEWS: August 2009

The microforms previously stored on the second floor of Bostock Library have been relocated to the lower level of Bostock Library.  The microforms are now stored in cabinets located around the perimeter of the room.  Please see staff at the Bostock Help Desk if you need assistance.

Bound Periodicals are now located on the Lower Level of Bostock Library.

Together with the Information Commons, the Current Periodicals, Newspapers and Microforms Department comprises most of the first floor of Bostock Library.

Microforms 

Microform materials are located on the first floor and lower level of Bostock Library.  Once you have located the microform call number in the online catalog, please check the Bostock Microforms List to see on which floor your title can be found.

Current Periodicals

The Current Periodicals are held on the shelving units near the entrance to the first floor of Bostock Library.  The most popular titles are in racks nearest the windows, with the current issues on display and the older issues underneath.  Lift up the shelves to access these.

Newspapers

Newspapers are located in the hanging gray folders at the end of the Current Periodicals shelving unit.  One side holds foreign papers and the other holds American.  The current issues of the most popular titles are held in hanging display racks next to the windows.
