The Collection Development Office is responsible for the coordination of the development and management of the library's collection.
Subject Librarians, throughout the Perkins system participate in these activities, which encompass selecting materials in all formats, making preservation decisions, and reviewing gift collections. They work closely with faculty to determine teaching and research needs; they welcome recommendations for purchase from any library patron.
