RUSH -

When an order is labeled RUSH or RUSH NOTIFICATION (RN), all acquisitions and processing procedures are handled
on a RUSH basis - searching, placement of order, instructions to vendor/publisher, and cataloging. Often, there is an extra charge by the
vendor. A RUSH ORDER (RO) means that the rush process is in effect through the placement of the order. RUSH ORDERS are useful for getting orders quickly processed and to a vendor for pre-publication offers, for materials in short supply, etc. RUSH NOTIFICATION (RN) and RUSH ORDERS (RO) should be clearly labeled.

RUSH NOTIFICATION -
