A distributor of publications issued by a number of publishers. Often vendors specialize in either monographs or serials although some distribute
both kinds of publications.

Vendor Slips-

Vendor notification slips contain bibliographical information for publications the vendor distributes to libraries. Collection Development staff sort these slips and other information from publishers and distribute them to Subject Librarians for selection decisions.
