The Duke University Libraries provide support to faculty and students through the work of Subject Librarians, who serve both as contacts for individuals (book and journal requests, specialized research assistance, etc.) and as liaisons to academic departments and programs. The role of subject librarians is described in a document adopted by the Collections and User Services Council in January 2011.
Questions or comments about the subject librarian program may be directed to Robert Byrd, Associate University Librarian for Collections and User Services.
