Library Strategic Plan, 2006-2010
We are pleased to share the Duke University Library's strategic plan, Connecting People + Ideas, with the community. The plan provides an excellent blueprint for the activities of the next five years and represents the contributions of a dedicated Strategic Planning Committee and many other staff. The Library plan identifies both challenges that are unique to research libraries and opportunities that are emerging from the development of exciting new interdisciplinary initiatives at Duke University. It is a bold document that does an excellent job of describing the environment in which we work and proposing strategies that will enable the Library to excel. This strategic plan charts the Library's directions for the future and inspires the next phase of our collective work at Duke University.
