Web Interfaces Group (WIG)

The Web Interfaces Group (WIG) seeks to ensure a successful user experience on the Libraries' websites.

  • Provides strategic vision for the Libraries’ web interfaces
  • Plans future interface development
  • Adopts emerging web technologies as appropriate
  • Makes decisions on proposed enhancements to existing interfaces

The WIG has appointed an implementation teams (WIGIT) to assess and prioritize proposed changes related to the Libraries’ home page and static content pages and the Libraries' discovery interfaces.

This team is modeled on the Digital Collections Implementation Team whose latest projects and developents are discussed on their blog.

Because the process for evaluating and prioritizing these changes is intended to be both transparent and effective, we maintain a public WIG Implementation Team: Projects List.
