The use of libx as an alternative to VPN to view journals from off-campus should be mentioned on OIT's VPN download page. Especially since VPN currently is not available at all for 64-bit vista, and can be troublesome for others such as linux users. The libx avoids such issues because, for example, the firefox plug-in works on just about any box that can run firefox, which is just about everything!
