Posted by Tom Moore in : Uncategorized , add a commentOur enthusiastic library assistant at the Media Center, Jamie Vermillion, will be moving to UNC Chapel Hill from Duke. Jamie writes:
After three years as the Student and Stacks Manager at the Music Library, on Nov. 2nd I will be moving over to UNC-Chapel Hill’s Wilson Library to become their new Southern Folklife Collection Assistant. While I am very much looking look forward to my new position in “one of the nation’s foremost archival resources for the study of American folk music and popular culture”, I will miss the students, faculty, and staff that made my time at the Music Library so enjoyable. I will particularly miss those hard-working graduate students that I see in the library every day when I come in at 8:00, and are usually still here when I leave at 5:00. I hope I was able to help you out a few times, and I wish you all the best of luck.
Best of luck in your new position, Jamie!
