Would you consider performing a new work?

My style is based in classical technique, but often has elements of jazz influences. Currently, I am working on a piece based in part on the anthem rock music of the late 70's and 80's - a classical string quartet, but with the sounds and styles of some the great bands like, Kansas, Yes, Styx, Led Zeppelin....

Jacques Offenbach's adaptation of Verne's Le Voyage dans la lune?
However, on a technicality, I think I deserve the cookie! Your brain teaser asked for what composer... I provided two to start, unless you were searching for a specific answer, maybe? :)

Gavin Bryars' wrote an opera based on Jules Verne's novella Dr. Ox's Experiment, and George Aperghis wrote, Pandaemonium, 1973.

Have you seen the film "Ghost World" directed by Terry Zwigoff (who also directed the documentary "Crumb"). There are drawings by and references to R.Crumb slipped in, as well as a great and eclectic soundtrack, centering around an archaic recording of "Devil Got My Woman" by Skip James.
