Data and GIS Services collects and supports numeric and geospatial data from a variety of sources for the Duke community. The data and gis collection covers on a wide range of topics such as: business trends, education statistics, labor statistics, political behavior, and a full range of demographic information. Our geospatial resources cover a large range of government and private vendors. The Brandaleone Center for Data and GIS Services offers convenient access to ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro, Excel, JMP, Mathematica, Nvivo, R, SAS, Stata, and SPSS. Staff with expertise in data management, GIS, and statistical software are available to assist researchers.
