ESRI Data and Maps 2012 is a map collection included with a license to ArcGIS Software. This release was issued with ArcGIS 10.1.

International County Risk Guide (ICRG)
The International Country Risk Guide (ICRG) rating comprises 22 variables in three subcategories of risk: political, financial, and economic. This update expands the series through 2011.  Both annual and monthly risk datasets are available for download- see page for details.

ITERATE - International Terrorism: Attributes of Terrorist Events
The ITERATE project is an attempt to quantify data on the characteristics of transnational terrorist groups, their activities which have international impact, and the environment in which they operate. This update expands the series through 2011.

Latin American Public Opinion Project (LAPOP)
The Latin American Public Opinion Project produces surveys analyzing public perceptions of the role of government, political tolerance, citizen participation, and corruption among other issues. This update provides new data that stretch the series back to as early as 1973, depending on the country.

Population Estimates, 1990-2009
The U.S. Census Population Estimates provide county-level, annual population estimates by race and ethnicity for 1990-2009. Data are specific to counties, and a subset covering North Carolina only is also available.

North Carolina Census 2010 Data - Counties and Tracts
The Data and GIS Services Department has compiled a variety of Census 2010 indicators for North Carolina counties and census tracts. These layers are designed to mirror the Census series found in the Esri Data and Maps collection. Data are available for North Carolina counties and tracts.
