Latin American Public Opinion Project (LAPOP)
The Latin American Public Opinion Project produces surveys analyzing public perceptions of the role of government, political tolerance, citizen participation, and corruption among other issues. This update provides new data that stretch the series back to as early as 1973, depending on the country.

The U.S. Census Population Estimates provide county-level, annual population estimates by race and ethnicity for 1990-2009. Data are specific to counties, and a subset covering North Carolina only is also available.
