This data cannot be construed to be a legal document. Primary sources from which the data have been compiled must be consulted for verification of the information contained in this data. The City of Durham and Durham County shall not be liable for any errors in the data as provided. Private Use Policy: No use for resale or commercial purposes, as defined in North Carolina General Statute Chapter 132-10, is permitted. Commercial Use Policy: The purpose of this Policy is to address GIS data distribution requests by an individual or organization that intends to use Durham's GIS data for commercial purposes. This Policy includes product availability, distribution methods, and product costs. The requester is required to use a GIS Data Distribution Application for Commercial Use. None of the GIS data purchased through this Policy shall be published by the requestor without the City's explicit written consent, nor shall the requestor permit any other party to publish the data. For example, to make this data available over the Internet is prohibited as a form of publication. This Policy shall apply to all GIS Data used for commercial purposes.
