The following steps were performed by ESRI: Copied the 2007 Mexico Municipalities. Dissolved the municipalities on the ST_NAME attribute to get the states. Added the SQKM attribute and calculated its values. Attached the attributes from 2006 Mexico States. Converted the data set to SDC. Created ArcGIS® layer file (.lyr), projection file (.prj), and spatial indices.
