Getting help with data management at Duke

Where to start for data help at Duke

If you're a member of the Duke community, Library Data and GIS Services is available to help you with your data management planning. Contact askdata@duke.edu or see our walk-in consulting schedule. Librarians and other staff with data expertise can talk to you about your project, point you to resources that may be helpful, and provide training or facilitate discussions with your IT and project staff around how to implement appropriate data management processes.

Duke Libraries also have librarians with specialties in particular subjects who act as liaisons with different disciplines and departments. You can contact the one appropriate for your subject area, and they can help connect you with relevant assistance.

If you have questions about copyright, licensing, or other intellectual property aspects of data management and publishing, the library's Scholarly Communications Office is available to help.
