DescriptionConstitution outlines the purpose and organization of the Presbyterian Education Society of Kentucky--"to assist indigent and pious young men, destined for the gospel ministry, in acquiring an Academic and Theological education." Men were to be educated at Centre College in Danville, Ky. Attached is a letter from James K. Burch to Sidney Clay asking for his help in securing scholarships to the school and identifying students.
