DescriptionOne-sided circular letter issued by Governor O. K. Allen, July 30, 1934. He orders that representatives from opposing factions be allowed to monitor the daily activity at the Registrar of Voters' office to establish honest voter registration. He also orders that "all persons desiring to register, or to transact any business in said office of the Registrar of Voters, be protected from any and all assault or other insult by any person or persons and that everyone be accommodated and made to feel safe to safeguard and protect his rights of citizenship."
