DescriptionNotice, dated Jan. 7, 1939, given to the members of the Society of Philatelic Americans by Frank L. Coes, Secretary. The notice states that several members have been announcing themselves as holding office within the Society, including the offices of President and Secretary pro tem. The notice then serves to inform members that charges have been brought against the members, specifically challenging the legality of any supposed election said members held. As a result of the "unusual conditions now prevailing within the Society the publication of the year book will be somewhat delayed."
