DescriptionBroadside reprinted from the "Border Song Book" featuring a song titled "To the Memory of the Brave Wells and McComas, Who Shot General Ross!", sung to the tune of the "Star-Spangled Banner." According to popular legend, two teenage boys from Baltimore, Daniel Wells and Henry McComas, shot and killed the British Major General Robert Ross as he rode his army toward Baltimore during the War of 1812.
