Receipt for sale to a Mr. Kolb of three slaves for the sum of $1050.00: Sophia, aged about 30 years old, her unnamed infant son of about six months old and a 14-year-old boy named John, all described as being of a "light brown coulor". Annotated to indicate that the boy named John was not sold, but might be at a later date.
