  Wanted poster for an escaped slave, "a negro boy named Aaron or Ape" who "is about 20 years old, six feet high, with rather unusually large legs and arms; walks bent forward with one foot turned out more than the other." The owner, O. M. Harris of Monroe County Missouri, offers a sliding scale reward depending on the distance at which his slave might be recaptured.
