  Four-page leaflet on the Cole Lectures for 1929, sponsored by the faculty of the School of Religion at Vanderbilt University. The leaflet includes an open invitation from the faculty inviting people to hear guest speaker, Charles Abram Ellwood, Ph.D., give the Cole Lectures with the theme "Man's Social Destiny." Ellwood was scheduled to give the lectures from April 21-26, 1929. At this time, Ellwood is a sociology professor at the Univ. of Missouri. Page three provides the titles of each lecture, the date/time and location. The fourth page just has the words "Cole Lectures" and "1929" on it.
