DescriptionProgram for two-day, Robeson County Sunday School Convention, "held in the Presbyterian Church at Maxton, N. C., March 12th 13th 1891..." The program includes "religious exercises", lectures such as "To what dangers are our young people exposed?" or "The temperance cause in Sunday schools", reports and music. Speakers are: Rev. S. V. Hoyle, E. K. Proctor, Jr., Capt. W. S. Norment; J. H. Morrison; Rev. P. R. Law, Rev. W. J. Fulford, Rev. H. G. Hill, D. D., Capt. Wm. Black, Rev. W. J. Crowson, Rev. Joseph Evans, Major Jesse R. McLean, Rev. N. M. Jurney, and Rev. J. M. Clark. Officers include: W. B. Harker, President; E. K. Proctor, Vice President; and C. B. Townsend, Secretary, who are also members of the Executive Committee along with:W. S. Norment and S. W. Bennett.
