  Public invitation to attend Democratic rally by the Honorable Locke Craig, leading candidate for the nomination of Governor of North Carolina in 1908. Music provided by the New Bern Band. On the backside of the invitation is a typed letter dated 1909 Jan. 15 and addressed to Messrs. P. G. Dun & Co. of Chicago, Il. There is no signer, however, the letter refers to a legal and financial matter between Monarch Co. and Coast Line Market.
