Other letters by Mr. Chas. W. Tilllet of Charlotte, and Mr. M. C. Freeman, a farmer from Richmond County are mentioned, with an extensive quote from Mr. Tillett's letter complaining that "Mr. Kitchin has not been in Mr. Craig's congressional district to make a single speech..."
