Plan of Organization of the "Boys in Blue"

Letter to soldiers and sailors who served in the Union Army during the U.S. Civil War, outlining the organization of an army of Union Arny veterans of the "late war," to "battle for the same principles, in the pending political campaign, for which they contended on the battlefield." Officers for each company are explained, as are uniforms. Convention planned for September 20, 1876, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
