  Six resolutions submitted and proposed for adoption. The minority accepts the "Platform of principles by the Democratic Convention at Cincinnati in the year 1856" but also proposes dissenting resolutions dealing with: property rights of states or territories; protecting citizens, whether at home or abroad; stressing the importance of railroad construction to aid speedy communication; acquisition of Cuba; and "faithful execution of the Fugitive Slave Law".
