Diary entries for March 27-April 2, 1925 from the diary of Mr. B.M. Hall, the construction superintendent for Horace Trumbauer's firm, concerning the layout of the new university. Journal's first page states, "Compliments of Stokes Packard Haughton and Smith, General Agents, Independence Indemnity Company for Surety Bonds and Casualty Insurance." Office was located in Philadelphia, PA. Glued inside front cover is a Western Union Telegram from Frank C. Brown to B.M. Hall stating that the stone had arrived for building sample.
