  Excerpt from Duke Alumni Register article (p. 352): "For the present, actual construction work has been confined to the first unit, although one of the foremost landscape firms in the United States is making plans for the new site. The first unit of Duke University will contain eleven new buildings, and with East and West Duke Buildings as the south end, and Aycock and Jarvis dormitories as the first units on either side, a quadrangle will be extended through the campus." Includes an architectural rendering. Article offers no author attribution; possibly written by Register editor, Richard Elton Thigpen.
