It is over two months since I have written here - Delhi for six weeks developing film making about 700 6x8" proofs - prints for a 6 page article in Span. A comfortable time because of staying with Mrs. Sen good food, perfect location - friendship with Raghubir back to Benares first week daze like readjusted my room damp, dark, second week a cold. Depression sets in, bad food again, etc. Move upstairs as everything starts to turn to mold. Have to wash all my clothes to get rid of the mildew - my regular assistant busy elsewhere I engage Lodi (Jalal) a Moslem but he is not very good, too shy unused to speaking with authority. Has not worked at all after graduation, every day use to sleeping cycle of despair has bent him. Photographing wall painting with color film I managed to scrounge from Span almost finished with 15 rolls but there is much more to do.
