• Description
  Certificate for deposit of gasoline into a ration bank account. Large suppliers and consumers used ration bank accounts to avoid managing large numbers of coupons. Checks were written for an amount against the total held in the account. Background safety paper contains stylized Great Seal and the phrase "U.S. Government Ration" in blue ink.
