Item Information help

  • Description
Caricature of Leonora Laure Rothschild (1837-1911) as an old goat with a locket around her neck. Leonora was the wife and cousin of Alphonse de Rothschild--all members of the prominent Rothschild family of Jewish financiers that became easy targets for anti-semitic outrage during the Dreyfus Affair even though they had little or no direct involvement.
