Collection Overview

Collection consists primarily of typescript drafts and proofs of Mason's work, including The Day the Bubble Burst (an early unpublished novel), Nabokov's Garden (her dissertation for the University of Connecticut, bound in a decorated album), The Girl Sleuth, Shiloh and Other Stories, articles published in the The New Yorker's "Talk of the Town" column, and many separate short stories. Also included are reviews of her work, news articles on Mason, programs from award ceremonies, and her acceptance speech for the Hemingway award in 1983.
