Night Clubs
Night Clubs.
I like the gleaming dance-bars of St. James
With lumined jadery or orange light,
The padded profiteer’s ecstatic dames
Their cushioned vastness corseted so tight.
I like refinement of man’s genteel lust
Soberly dezined in funereal hues,
Whilst nude-backed virgins prance around in trust
Awaiting cheques from cavaliering Jews.
