Teaching with Sakai

Training and information sessions focusing on using Sakai for teaching.

Getting Started with Sakai

Are you a faculty member teaching a course with Sakai or a staff member assisting with a course?  This workshop will help you create and manage a Sakai course or project site, giving you an overview of the software, how to upload and manage content such as a syllabus, set up and manage forums, and how to set up assessments and a gradebook.  You will get tips on using Sakai and have hands-on experience with some Sakai features.  (If you already know how to use Sakai and need a consultation or in-depth look at a Sakai feature, attend the CIT's regularly scheduled Open Office Hours.
