Teaching and Learning Seminars

Join CIT consultants and faculty members for lively discussions of teaching ideas and methods. These informal seminars will include activities and examples to get you thinking about possible changes in your classroom. Topics include writing better multiple choice questions and how to use mobile devices for learning. "Teaching Thursdays" will be held every other week from 3:00 - 4:30 throughout Spring 2014.

Using Video in Teaching

Are you looking for ways to improve or extend your teaching with video? Wondering how to start creating your own instructional video content? Join us for this seminar featuring Duke Digital Initiative and CIT staff. They will share tried-and-true practices that will convince you that video can be an effective medium for knowledge transfer. You'll come away knowing the tools available at Duke for you to add video to your teaching today.
