Nicholas Family International Reading Room

Nicholas Family Reading Room The Nicholas Family Reading Room on the second floor of the Bostock Library houses reference books in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Polish, Russian and several South Asian languages as well as general international reference sources.  The computers are equipped with fonts to display and write Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Hebrew, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Turkish and Urdu. CDs for Kokka, Bijtutsu shinpō, and Nishikie shinbun are installed on computers near the East Asian Reading Room.

The offices for the International and Area Studies librarians are adjacent to the reading room as are the East Asian stacks.  We welcome walk-in reference questions Monday-Friday between 9 am and 5 pm or contact us to set up an appointment.
