Required: BA/BS and current enrollment in a graduate program in Public History, Library & Information Science (accredited by the American Library Association), or equivalent. By Fall Semester 2008, must have completed at least one course in archival theory and practice.
Required: Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capacity to take initiative and thrive in a rapidly changing environment; ability to work independently and as a member of a team; accurate and detail-oriented; strength to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 40 pounds; and tolerance of dirt, dust, and inactive mold spores (protective clothing provided).
