Carved Altar Table
Carved Altar Table, 10' long x 1'-8" wide x 3'-5" high
This nineteenth century altar table is constructed of hongmu, a very durable and beautiful hardwood. Carvings of lotus and dragons adorn the apron, legs, and the censer for burning incense at the center of the table. The table, once housed in the Thomas residence, is a gift from the Estate of Mrs. James A. Thomas.
