Embroidered Bedspread, 7'-4" high, 4'-4" wide, 1'-4" deep
On the east wall at the north end of the Thomas Room is a brilliant red, felt-like cloth intended as a bedspread. Hand embroidered with silk thread, the floral designs depict peonies, plum blossoms, lotus flowers, and irises. Brilliant butterflies and gold leaves complete the design. Stitched on the back of the bedspread is the inscription "J. A. Thomas Esq. from F. K. Wong Singson."
