To place material on E-Reserves:

  • Submissions for electronic reserves are forwarded to the Perkins Library Reserves Department. Lilly staff will route e-reserves materials and completed forms to Perkins, or you may send them directly to Campus Box 90173. For complete information about E-Reserves, consult Reserves Guidelines.

Film and Video Reserves

Film and video reserve forms can be completed to place films and videos on reserve for a semester at Lilly Library. Films may also be reserved for classroom showings using a classroom showing reserve form.

Lilly Book Reserves

To place BOOKS on reserve at Lilly:

Open and Closed Reserves

  • Open Reserves: Find in Room 113.
Items are available for use in the building ONLY. The books do not circulate and may not leave the library.
  • Closed Reserves:  Ask at the circulation desk.
They are available for check-out as designated by the instructor.

Tips for Placing Materials on Reserve

  • Please allow sufficient time for processing so that items are available when students need to access them.
  • If possible, bring Reserve items to Lilly between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Choose one reserve location per course so that students may find materials easily.
  • To place books on reserve at Perkins Library on WEST campus, see Perkins Library Guidelines for Submitting Reserve Materials.
