Theater

About the Collection

Theater materials are housed both in Perkins Library and in Lilly Library.  Generally speaking, play scripts and other performance-related materials may be found at Lilly, while theater as literature (including Shakespeare's plays) and critical materials are housed in Perkins.  Drama and theater materials may be found in Lilly's art collection (including theater arts and costume) and film collection (including both video recordings of theatrical performances and film scripts) and in the Special Collections Library (including items such as historic playbills).
