General Music Collection

The Music Library and Music Media Center collections strive to support the researchers and performers in the music and other departments at Duke, as well as the recreational performing and listening needs of the broader Duke community. Our collection contains approximately 120,000 print items (books, scores, and journals), 25,000 sounds recordings in various formats, and 13,000 microforms. Please note that the majority of our LP recordings are not in the online catalog; please use the card catalog in the Media Center. Due to space limitations approximately 25-30% of our print collection is housed at the LSC with a 24-hour delivery time.
