** If needed longer for classroom use, preparation for teaching, or research, see music library staff. Reserve materials borrowed less than 3 hours before closing are due back 1 hour after opening on the following business day.
† Alumni of Duke University, immediate family members of employees and students, and visitors to campus are welcome to use Music Library facilities. Those wishing to use media materials or borrow materials from either the Music Library or Music Media Center must register at Perkins Library before privileges will be granted. Fees apply for some patron categories and there is a 10-item limit for all borrowers who fall into the aforementioned categories. Some materials do not circulate, though they may be used in-house by registered borrowers.
