Dr. Peter Kussin Speaks Thursday About Poetry and the Healing Arts

Dr. Peter Kussin will speak at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, at Perkins Library in the Rare Book Room on the topic of "Why William Carlos Williams Was Right: The Importance of Poetry in the Practice of Medicine." Dr. Kussin's lecture is part of the Engaging Faculty series, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Duke University Libraries. The event is free and open to everyone.

Dr. Kussin is Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine's Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
