Carol Meyers speaks about "Women in Scripture" on March 4

Friends of the Library Engaging Faculty Series: Professor Carol Meyers, a specialist in biblical studies and archaeology and member of the faculty of the Department of Religion, will deliver a lecture entitled "Discovering Women in Scripture." With reference to her recently published book, Women in Scripture, Professor Meyers will explain how every female figure in scripture was identified and how the best scholarly information about each of them was gathered into one comprehensive and comprehensible volume. The Engaging Faculty Series is sponsored by the Friends of the Duke University Libraries.
