Library Web Services will be testing the new website design in a series of usability tests from Monday, Aug. 23 - Friday, Sept. 3.
Over the past year, library staff have conducted user studies to better understand how Duke faculty and students use online library resources. Our user-centered, iterative design philosophy means that we'll be checking in regularly with library patrons to ensure that the site design stays rooted in patron needs.
As the fall semester begins, we're looking for Duke students, faculty, and staff to help us assess the new design by performing a short series of tasks on the new interface.
The tests should take around 45 minutes, and participants will receive a reward in appreciation of their help.
Please support the continuing improvement of the library's online tools! Contact Library Web Services at libweb@duke.edu to reserve your place.
