Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Oldest Feminist Bookstore in the Southeast

On Tuesday, 12 April, at 7:00pm at Perkins Library in the Rare Book Room, join the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Atlanta-based Charis Books and More with founder Linda Bryant. The event also provides an opportunity to celebrate the publication by Charis of an anthology of writing by women and girls on home and the search for self. The program is sponsored the the library's Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture, which has recently acquired the papers of Charis. Dessert reception to follow.
