Registration is open for Duke's fifth annual Instructional Technology Showcase, which will be held on Thursday, 28 April 2005, from 8:40am-2:30pm at the Bryan Center. Breakfast and check-in begin at 8:00am.
The Showcase will highlight the various technologies that Duke faculty, staff, and students are using in teaching and learning. The event will include presentations and poster sessions as well as lunch and door prizes for registrants and participants. Come for all or part of the day. Walk-in registration is allowed, though pre-registration (deadline 25 April) is encouraged and is required for a free lunch.
The keynote speaker will be Kenneth C. Green, director of the Campus Computing Project. His talk is entitled "Beginning the Third Decade: From Great Aspirations to Assessment and Accountability."
